Context
Internal Hikar Canada prototype for digital twin visualization, VR factory presentation, training concept validation, and stakeholder/client demos.
My Role
Main Unity Developer responsible for most Unity-side implementation.
Tech Stack
Unity, C#, Meta/Oculus Quest, WebGL, Photon, XR Interaction Toolkit, custom Unity scripts, API/live data integration.
What I Built
- Individual WebGL machine viewers integrated into a React dashboard by the wider team.
- VR factory setup with machines, product manipulation, training modules, and guided presentation flows.
- Floating UI panels, dashboard screens, indicators, charts/text values, Quest/WebGL builds, testing, and demo prep.
Data Integration
The project started with mock/sample data and later used real/API data representing live IoT machine status.
Outcome
Working internal prototype used for stakeholder demos, training concept validation, and live-data visualization demonstration.
